UNICEF Türkiye Milli Komitesi ÖNDERLİĞİNDE VAKKORAMA, CNN TURK VE POWER FM DESTEGI ILE ... "Sokak Çocukları" kampanyasına gelir sağlayabilmek amacıyla hazırlanan For Tomorrow Bilekliği. Küçük boy. UNICEF TMK bağış makbuzu karşılığı dağıtımı yapılmaktadır.

Arkadaşlar, sokaklarda hergün onlarca kimsesiz, tinerci, aç, evsiz vb... konumda pek çok çocukla karşılaşıyoruzdur. Kimi 1 tane mendil, yarabandı satarak, kimi de cam silerek 1 ekmek almak için para kazanmaya çalışıyor. Biliyoruz ki, kazandıkları bu paralar, kendilerine gitmiyor. Ya anaları-babaları (varsa...) ya da kime çalışıyorlarsa ona veriyorlar. Ancak, bizlerin yapacağı bu yardım; direkt olarak onların eline gitmeyecek. Bu yardımın amacı; sokaklardaki çocuklara; belki kalacakları ev yapımında kullanılacak, belki karınlarını doyuracak, belki de okula gidenlere defter, kitap, vb... şeyler almak için kullanılacak. 2 YTL nedir ki? Düşünecek olursak, 2 YTL'yi nerlere harcamıyoruz ki!

Haydi... Yardımınız 1 tık uzakta. Yapacağınız tek şey; UNICEF'in sitesine üye olup, minimum 10 adet bileklik siparşi vermek. Ya da kendiniz giderek (ki satılan yerler sitede belirtilmiş...) istediğiniz adette satın almak...

Milyonlarca $ yardım ettiğimiz depremzede çocukları düşünürsek, 2 YTl için fazla söze gerek yok aslında...


Orange wristbands for homeless children.
The yellow wristband of Lance Armstrong's "Live Strong", Nike's black and white wristband for racism, Live 8's white ones... and now to support homeless children, orange For Tomorrow social awareness wristbands.
Unicef, Ministry of Interior Affairs, Department of Justice and all related departments of the ministry, are in combination to support Unicef's project. Target is 1 million wristbands, 2 YTL each.
The money will be used to raise a fund for homeless and working children to able them continue their education. Target is the maintainence to continue to school, of children between 6-10 years old and to get back to the ones age 10-14, and to support education of their families as well.

Andre Agassi: A True Champion!

Andre Agassi and Roger Federer met for the championship of the 2005 US Open, but this classic late-summer duel was between two guys wearing white hats. On his historic run through a 20th US Open, after receiving yet another cortisone shot for back and hip problems that knocked him out of the French Open and Wimbledon, Andre dared to dream he could win it once more at age 35. He was oldest Grand Slam finalist in 31 years. Though he was forced to meet only one seed, the last of the 32 in the draw, he had to survive three consecutive, grueling five-set matches, in the process, triumphing over two of the hottest players in the game. For a man who might be playing the senior tour, this was by any marker a phenomenal feat.
